Our world is facing mounting, overwhelming crises – from climate justice, income inequalities, gender-based violence, the wage gap and parental leave, to sexual and reproductive health rights, and global conflict. Young people being marginalized by their gender are being disproportionately affected by harmful action or inaction on these issues.
Today we live among the largest generation of youth in history, so young people play a pivotal role tackling these crises head-on. Fora is propelling the force of young changemakers into spaces where they can drive action, enabling them to have impact in the spaces they are currently being excluded from.

You can help propel exceptional young individuals forward on their leadership trajectories. Your support will prepare people experiencing gender-based discrimination with lifelong skills, confidence, resources, and networks to drive change where their career, passion, and advocacy takes them.
You will initiate a ripple effect: by helping advance the leadership trajectory of a young person experiencing gender-based discrimination, you are investing in entire communities when they return to their home (across Canada or around the world) with the skills and expertise to advance change.
You can accelerate systems changing: helping to create more inclusive, equitable boards driving the actions of organizations, advocating for more equitable policies around issues that affect people marginalized by their gender and supporting young people to drive long-term change from the top.

Zahra Al Hilaly is a 21-year-old first-generation Australian from Palestine and Iraq. As a writer, advocate, and public speaker, Zahra is committed to amplifying all intersectional youth at the core of decision-making processes.

Mercy Ayesha is fueled by passion, transparency, and authenticity. Having lived an incredibly turbulent life as a child, they are determined to make sure no one experiences the difficulties they did. A proud newcomer to Tkaronto, they want to shape the future of policy supported by their extensive grassroots experience and continue solving issues that impact our communities.

Julieta is a queer feminist advocate of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for women and non-conforming gender identities. She is currently working in a civil society organization, designing and fundraising for projects regarding violence-free environments for girls, women, and historically marginalized groups.
